After 47.9 hours in the air, covering 5 906 nautical miles (almost 11 000 km) over 32 days. After 24 take offs and landings, flying in 3 countries, landing in 11 USA states and on 3 Bahamian islands, RegularNut and I flew our trusty 4-seater, single engine Cessna 182 from Lethbridge, Alberta to the Bahamas and back.
While the numbers are interesting, what cannot be counted or measured is what made this trip special to us.

We hope to give a sense of our experiences in a series of blog entries that will use this page as an index. We will try to provide enough technical information to make things understandable for our non-flying friends, whilst keeping things palatable for those who, like us, have the bug, and understand the jargon.
